Let's get started! Bring some coffee,
cookies, or any kind of snack and get comfortable. Here we go guys this year I
want us to start with brand new
strength, a new attitude, so we could create a new path and be able
to take on new adventures with confidence.
Thinking about everything I want to share with you, and what words to
use to convey a clear and genuine message. Having my mind running a thousand
miles per hour I can't help to think that we are in a world where everyone has
dreams, a desire to become someone big, and for our talent to stand out. Let me
tell you this my friend–it's okay to
want all these things and even more. For this reason I would
love to share this message–hoping that this will give you the strength, new inspiration to
create something beautiful for the world to enjoy.
It doesn't
matter where you come from, your economic status, the language you speak or the
skin color you have. The first thing that you have
to have is the passion–but this is just the beginning so hang in there because
you still have a long way to go. But don't be scared you will get there. Rainer
Maria Rilke author of Letters to a young poet said "If, when you wake up in the morning,
you can think of nothing but writing...then you are a writer." Wait
for it, because I know you'll probably say "But I don't want to be a
writer!"...but let me change up a bit to show you what I mean. "If, when you wake up in the morning,
you can think of nothing but to design...then you are a designer." What
is your first thought every morning?
NOTE TO
YOURSELF: This is not enough for you to
say that you have everything you need to be a designer, it only means that your
progress has gone up about 5% but again don’t be scared I am not done.
IF you want to develop a talent, an idea, we need to focus and do the very best we can do. Do not
let anything or anyone intimidate you or stop you. Practice, practice, practice–Keep on preparing constantly let knowledge rain down on you.
But don’t get a big head thinking that you know it all. But
above all don’t be selfish and share
your knowledge with anyone that needs it. Be courteous because this is the
key to open the big doors. We might think that we are masters of design and
have a big understanding of it BUT if we don’t have the ability to
connect with people then everything else doesn’t matter. I know!
Hard to believe but this is true. It is essential to be able to connect with
people.
We
have come to the end of this tiny message made out of love for you with
the only purpose to encourage to conquer new challenges. We could dive in
deeper and develop this but I don’t want to keep
you up all night or all day depending what time you are reading this.
In
conclusion, I am going say this to you my lovely reader. Whatever your
profession is, whatever you want to pursue–if you
have the love, the passion I encourage you to keep on going. To obtain the 100%
there is only one thing to do and that is to work hard and constantly–giving your all. I motivate you to fight and when you feel
discouraged take a few minutes to look back to your achievements. Big
or small achievements are achievements and it’s a reminder of how great we are!
